The red flags went up when Nick boldly asserted that he could decrease my monthly energy expenditure from over £100 down to just £44! He even mentioned specific unit prices: 16.5p per KWh for electricity and 3.32p per KWh for gas. Being rather intrigued by such claims, I allowed him to continue his pitch. He then noted with great insistence that I should reach out to him directly on 0141 367 9893 for any further inquiries, as I was now deemed a "priority customer." It wasn’t long before he requested my bank details, and naturally, when I declined, he diverted the call to his 'line manager'-though he didn’t simply transfer me; he actually went off to fetch him. While I waited, I took the liberty of searching for the number online, only to discover it had been flagged as a nuisance number. When I raised this concern with Calvin, his response was rather nonchalant as he pressed me once more for my account number and sort code. I, of course, refused.
