someone said they were from vodafone and started asking about who my broadband provider was. but since vodafone is already my broadband provider for one of my lines, wouldnt they already know that? so i just ended the call.

Just like all the other calls I've had. He said he was ringing from Vodafone and wanted to know about my broadband and what I was paying. Offered me £19.99 a month when I said I wasn’t keen. I told him I wasn’t looking to switch and he didn’t push further. Not rude or anything, but I’m always a bit wary when it’s a cold call.

just got a call a bit ago. like the other person mentioned, sounded like they were calling from a home setup, maybe cos of covid and all, but something felt off so i didn’t really bother with them and blocked the number. don’t think it was really vodafone like they said, they’ve never messaged me like that before. my tip is to stay cautious. always reach out to companies yourself and don’t go for anything from random cold calls.

Someone called saying they were from Vodafone. The background noise sounded like a kitchen. They asked what I mostly used my phone for and how much my bill was each month. I told them £10 and then they just ended the call. Felt a bit fishy to me.
