Really wish I’d looked up this number earlier. I asked Oak Mobility for a brochure yesterday, and they’ve already called me about 14 times, switching between a landline and mobile. SCAM ALERT! THIS NUMBER IS FAKE! Blocking them is pointless. These scammers from abroad just keep ringing using countless fake UK numbers that can't be traced. To tackle this, you should reach out to your MP. Tell them about the issue and ask what Parliament is doing to make the phone companies put tech in place that can stop calls coming from overseas fakes. The technology already exists. You can find how to contact your MP on the UK Parliament website. Their reply will be quite revealing. These scams rake in billions tax-free and seriously need to be shut down.

I usually just let calls go to voicemail cos if it’s important they’ll leave a message. Any other calls I just ignore, no point wasting time. Didn’t know who this number was until today, but I kinda recall signing up for a catalogue once. They call from a couple of different numbers though. I never pick up thinking they’d get the hint, but nope, they keep ringing 3 or 4 times daily for about a month now.

Right after I checked out their website, they phoned me up two times in a row. The site makes you order a catalogue before you can see any of their stuff. I'd have thought data protection rules mean they shouldn’t be allowed to ring me unless I gave them the go-ahead.
