Got a call from some aquatic water softener firm offering a 'free' visit to test my water. I said fine, come ahead but if they tried to push a sale Mrs Happy would give them a proper telling off and tell them to piss off. She got really rude and just ended the call. The water softener they’re pushing is basically the same model you can pick up at a local plumbers shop for a couple of quid.

What a pain - I did one of those quick surveys a few weeks ago, worked out where it was going and told them I was REALLY happy with the water quality. Just got a call from them "checking in" and when I said I'd already done the survey, they kept going on about how other folks nearby were unhappy with the water (basically suggesting I was lying!).
