I received a rather unexpected phone call today, allegedly from Scottish Power (SP), and wouldn't you know, the chap had a distinct Scottish accent! 😄 However, I’ve had no dealings with them lately, I’m on the Telephone Preference Service list, and I’ve locked myself into a fixed rate plan with a different company until 2022. Despite all this, he was quite insistent that he could unearth a better deal for me. Honestly, given the current circumstances, I highly doubt it. I decided to wrap up the conversation courteously.
