I received a rather dodgy call that kicked off with a message warning me the conversation was being recorded. Shortly after, a chap with a British accent inquired about someone named "Jonathan." Seems like a classic scam to me!

I received a rather unsettling phone call that kicked off with a pre-recorded message stating, "This call is being recorded," which felt quite menacing. Soon after, a gentleman speaking in an American accent addressed me directly by my name. I opted for silence, choosing not to respond. He subsequently hung up, only to call back moments later. Once again, the same foreboding introduction played, followed by him mentioning my name once more. He claimed he couldn't catch what I was saying (which was nothing since I was quiet!), and assured me he would ring again. It’s clear this is a scam.
