I got a call from this number and it was from inhealth, which is part of the NHS lung cancer screening scheme. You can actually check it out on the official NHS website where they list all their contact details, including this number. They don’t just call, they also send letters and texts. It’s a legit screening service, nothing dodgy about it.

Got a ring from someone about NHS lung screening... nothing to worry about.

Got a text about some NHS lung cancer check-up thing. They wanted my full name, where I live, my birthday, and whether I smoked or had worked around asbestos. The woman on the phone was really nice and said I’m low risk, so I don’t need to book anything. They even mentioned my doctor’s surgery, which made me think it’s legit and not some dodgy scam.

A bloke called about NHS lung cancer screening and asked if I could do a quick survey, said it’d only take about 5-10 mins. Told him I’d ring back later since I was heading out. I’ll probably check it out more properly before calling back though.

This isn’t a scam, honestly! I’ve got mine booked for a lung scan in August too. If you have a look on the NHS site or just Google it, you’ll see it’s legit. Fingers crossed yours comes back all clear, just like I’m hoping for with mine. Best of luck!

I got a call about lung cancer screening through the NHS and they arranged for me to have a check-up nearby. It seems legit to me. I really can’t understand why someone would choose to block this sort of call.

Got a text saying from the NHS that I have to call this number because I've been flagged for more treatment regarding lung cancer. Quite worrying really.

Just wanted to let you know that the number goes to a Lung Cancer Screening check-up organised by the NHS. You can find more info at https://swaglunghealthcheck.nhs.uk/contact/. Makes it easier to know what it’s about before you pick up!

I just got a call from someone saying it was the NHS cancer screening service.

This company has been hired to handle the NHS lung health checks, but they only earn money if they manage to 'process' a certain amount of people. Because of that, they're constantly bothering folks just to boost their figures. The so-called 'screening' starts with a questionnaire designed to spot those supposedly 'at risk', which, honestly, seems to include just about everyone. Feels like another business just draining public funds.

For quite some time, I've been getting texts from this number, but my phone kept warning me it might be fraud. After months of dealing with it, I finally decided to block it.

I got a text from an NHS mobile, telling me to ring this number. Seems legit as it’s for the lung health screening done by InHealth, connected with the NHS in Somerset, Wiltshire, Avon and Glos. If you want to check it out yourself, go to swaglunghealthcheck.nhs.uk. Looks like a proper NHS service for lung health checks.

I know a couple of mates who used this service and said it was legit NHS stuff. They mentioned it was properly managed and kept completely private. So yeah, it seems trustworthy.

I received a text supposedly from "NHSBookings" about a complimentary health check related to some NHS Lung screening thing. Out of curiosity, I rang my GP and they said they hadn’t sent me any referrals or heard about such a screening programme. The number looked like it was from Bristol, but I didn’t ring it. I did a bit of digging on the Government UK and NHS England websites, and they do mention Lung Health Screening. I’m still a bit unsure about it all, but I reckon I might try calling them back using a landline instead of my phone.

Don’t worry, this number isn’t trying to scam you or sell anything dodgy. It belongs to the NHS Lung Health Check Programme and they’re calling folks aged 55 to 74. Your GP must’ve passed your info along if they’re trying to get hold of you. I just spoke with someone from them - had a quick 5-minute chat and they said I’m at low risk for lung cancer over the next 5 years. If they call, pick up - it might actually be a lifesaver!

Got a call from someone saying they were from the NHS lung screening team. Sounded a bit dodgy to me, so I thought I’d check the number - definitely not legit. Be careful with these types pretending to be health services!

I keep getting these texts about a Lung Screening programme but when I called the number 0117 2338127, my phone warned me it might be a scam so I just ended the call. Quite suspicious if you ask me.

This number has called me thrice already. This time, I decided to ask them who my GP was, but they couldn’t give me a proper answer. Their English was really bad. I even asked where my medical practice was located and once again, they had no clue. Definitely a scam.

I got a voicemail from this number today that was all over the place - two voices talking at once and no clear message. One was telling the other that the contact number they’d just called was wrong, so I’m guessing it might be the NHS or something similar. A couple of weeks back I received a letter from the NHS about a lung health check, and if they really need to get in touch for a survey, they should just ask me to visit my local clinic. I’m certainly not gonna chat about my health with some random person on the phone.

Sounds like this number might belong to a private firm that’s taken on an NHS contract - it really feels like our details are being handed over to private businesses without us even realising.

Got a call about a lung health screening from the NHS. Wasn't expecting it but seems like they're offering free checks. Anyone else get one of these calls? Wondering if it’s legit or just some kind of scam.
