It was a horrible intimidating call trying to scare you. HMRC don’t work like that, unless you’re actually avoiding them! So this bloke called claiming to be from HMRC, said his name was Rob Peterson. He gave me some reference number and went on about a warrant out for my arrest 'cause of tax evasion/fraud. When I said he didn’t sound like a proper John Peterson, he got all angry and said if I didn’t cough up £1482 in 2 days, I’d see what he was capable of.
