I was really fed up with the endless ringing and picked up pretending I felt ill. The person claimed to be from Openreach and mentioned something about my data. I asked straight away what they wanted and why they were ringing me. Then they just hung up. Definitely wasn’t a native English speaker either. Another dodgy call to add to the growing pile.

They ring me several times daily, about three or four calls, but never bother to leave a voicemail. It happens every single day.

I kept hearing silence when I picked up, which was really frustrating. Nobody spoke, it just felt weird. I reckon it could be some sort of scam call. The number was 0117 208 3181. Honestly, if anyone sees this number pop up, I’d say block it straight away to avoid getting caught out.
