Today, on the 12th of May 2026 at about 19:12, I got a call from a strange number. It appeared as some kind of telemarketer or spam, so I didn’t pick up and just blocked it straight away.

Got loads of calls from a guy with a really thick accent, kept asking how I was doing before saying my tv’s accidental damage cover was up for renewal. Got a call from someone claiming to be Currys PC World trying to push me a new iPhone, total con if you ask me. But I ended up having a laugh for about half an hour on the phone with them. They asked me what phone I’m currently using, so I told them my first ever phone was a Nokia 3310. They had no clue what that was, which was pretty funny. After that, I decided to mess around and said I was a car insurance agent from “Gottalarf” (pronounced gottal arf). I started firing questions back at them, like their name, date of birth, and where they work. They got caught out when they named a different place than what I was expecting. I kept them chatting away with talk about insurance deals and bonuses if they signed up right then and there. Eventually, they said they needed to think it over, so I told them I’ll ring back in 256,753 hours to give them plenty of time. Got covid and stuck at home, so why not have some fun?

Got a call from 01172077037 the other day. When I called them back, there was an automated message saying it was some sort of Aztec services.
