this bloke called me, knew my name even, then asked if i'd got home insurance. after i told him i'm not a homeowner, he said the call was only for people who own a house and just cut me off. pretty quick hang-up!

Was in the shower when the phone rang, so I just let it go to voicemail. When I checked later, there was no message, only loads of noise from what sounded like a call centre. The number showing up was 01172051223. This was the second time today I’d had dodgy calls; the other one came from 01670102204. They asked if they had got through to me, but before I could say yes or no, they demanded to know who I was, then started rambling on about some stuff I couldn’t make out. I just ended the call.
