8 yearsLoads of calls from different numbers that just change the last digit, all from these dodgy lot. I have no clue who they are or what they want. They ring me but then just hang up straight away, or sometimes leave a voicemail with nothing on it. When I try calling back, an automated message in a thick foreign accent comes on, then I’m put on hold with annoying music playing. Proper pain in the neck. I never gave them my number, so how they got it is a mystery. I’m thinking they might have snagged it after I answered a call from an 0117 payphone recently. Maybe that payphone’s system picked up live numbers for their sketchy database. Had about four calls daily over the past couple of days and I’m seriously considering blocking the whole number range.
