Got a call where some robotic voice pretending to be from HMRC told me there was a warrant out for my arrest over unpaid taxes and that I had to press 1 to pay up. Initially, I found it kinda funny, but then I thought about how upsetting that could be for others. Honestly, it's one of the nastiest scams I've come across. Of course, I blocked the number and reported it right away.
