Naturally, I opted not to comply, leaving me curious about the potential outcome had I pressed the button. It’s concerning to think that someone in a state of panic could easily fall for it. If it were a legitimate communication from my internet provider, surely they would identify themselves properly rather than using this ambiguous number, which has been ringing my phone repeatedly.
