It was defo an autodialer, and the line quality was absolutely rubbish. I picked up just to see if I could mess with a scammer and keep them on the line with some nonsense. But no luck, it just cut off after about three seconds with a faint beep. Proper annoying, honestly :( going straight on the block list.
