Right from the start there was a pause... usually means it's one of those spam calls from overseas. A woman mentioned something about a ‘car crash’. I decided to humour her and said I’d actually been in one about a month ago. Then she put me through to some ‘manager’. A fast-talking bloke with a foreign accent told me they’d got my info from some RTA department. Asked what their company was called, and I think he said something like "Smith Care Comfort". He asked me for all the accident details and claimed they’d send paperwork by post the next day, saying I could get £2000-£3000 compensation. He kept chatting endlessly about what happened... got fed up, so I told him straight, “remove my number from your list and stop trying to scam people.” He just hung up right then.

i got a call from a young woman but her message was all jumbled and then it just cut off. makes me think they want you to ring back to a pricey number. didn’t bother calling back, just looked online to see if others had the same kind of call and yep, found plenty saying the same thing here.
