i didn't pick up, just went ahead and blocked the number right away.

Got a call from a woman with a strange accent claiming to be from Talktalk’s tech support. She said my router was hacked and that’s why my internet was running slow. I wasn’t convinced so I just ended the call. Sounds like the typical scam, probably linked to the recent Talktalk data leak where customers’ info got exposed.

I keep getting that automated message too, and I don’t even have BT as my provider. Ended up putting that number on my block list as well.

Got a call from BY a couple days back, female voice, about cutting off my internet or something. Today I got a letter and another call but from a totally different number. Bit suspicious if you ask me.

This ain't BT, it's a scam for sure. Best thing to do is block the number and report it; don’t press any buttons!
