Got a call around 2 this afternoon from a guy with an Asian accent claiming he was from BT. He kept telling me to do things over the phone, but I immediately thought it was dodgy since I don’t have BT anyway. Sounded like a scam to me.

I received a rather alarming call regarding my Amazon Prime subscription, claiming that a hefty £79.99 would be deducted from my account if I didn't promptly cancel. They instructed me to hit 1 on my device if I wished to chat with someone about cancelling. However, I only pay £7.99 monthly, not the figure they mentioned. I can't help but think that once I call, out of worry regarding that amount, they'll likely request my banking information! Quite the dodgy situation, if you ask me!
