I've always held the belief that one should be cautious in these situations, and I strongly encourage others to adopt the same mindset. When I politely declined to provide any details, the woman on the other end turned quite hostile and started to raise her voice. It was rather unsettling, to say the least.4 yearsthey called saying i could get a better deal on my phone and save money even though i've got a year and a half left on my contract. i kept listening until they asked for my bank info and then i told them to post the details over so i could check it out properly.4 yearsI rang up to go over my life insurance and check if the policy was still suitable, but the person on the phone said they couldn’t share any details about my account because of ‘data protection’. Yet, they seemed totally fine with me giving out my private financial info to a complete stranger!
