I received a call from someone claiming to be from Citizens Advice, who then inquired about any outstanding debts I might have. Naturally, I was taken aback and questioned why Citizens Advice would be reaching out to me in the first place. They insisted it was to assist with debt issues. I expressed my skepticism, mentioning that it seemed improbable for them to be making such calls, and that their manner sounded just like a typical spam caller. The response I got was merely, “that’s your opinion.” I have serious doubts about this number.
