I missed the call but thought I'd see what folks said here first.

Some person called me, said they were from HMRC and threatened me with being arrested for not paying income tax. I just kept chatting with them for as long as possible to try and prevent them bothering someone else.

I picked up and some Indian guy was shouting in the background, said he was calling from Amazon. Started asking about my day and then outta nowhere, he just dropped a rude word at me and ended the call. Seriously confused by that one 😂😂

Got a call from someone claiming to be with the national debt helpline. When I asked how they got my details, they claimed I’d asked for assistance - which is total rubbish. I told them to delete my information from their system, but they just talked over me and ignored what I said. Had to raise my voice before they finally stopped and promised to remove my data. Definitely going to report this.
