Got a call from some Indian call centre claiming to be from London, Colburn High Street? They said it was "Thorn Telecom," apparently a big name in the UK. I asked the girl if there was a window nearby, and when she said yes, I told her to look outside and tell me what she saw, saying I was right there on the street to check it (spoiler: I wasn’t!). She just laughed and insisted it wasn’t possible. What followed was about 10 minutes of her trying to sell me an iPhone 14, while I kept leaving her guessing what phone I was actually using. Finally, she got annoyed and called me out for wasting her time. We both just ended the call with a cheeky goodbye. 😂
