I received a rather curious call from an Indian call centre purporting to operate out of Colburn High Street in London, representing a company by the name of 'Thorn Telecom,' which I gather is a rather prominent entity in the UK. I cheekily asked the young lass on the phone if she could see out of her window, to which she replied in the affirmative. I then suggested she take a gander outside and describe her view since I happened to be on the same street-that was a little fib, of course! All she could do was chuckle and insist that such a task was impossible. What followed was a delightful and amusing ten-minute exchange where she attempted to peddle an iPhone 14, all the while I kept her on her toes regarding the actual device I was using. In the end, she turned the tables and accused me of squandering her time, so after a bit of mutual banter, we wished each other well before parting ways. Quite the entertaining encounter, I must say! 😄
