Last night, I was jolted awake by a flurry of four calls from a withheld number, all coming in rapid-fire succession. It was so quick that I seriously doubt they could have been from the same individual, assuming there was even a real person behind it. I opted to ignore each call only for another to come through almost instantly-there was hardly a chance to get back to my phone or even try to dial out again. This morning brought a similar ordeal, albeit with just three calls back-to-back, and this time they all displayed different numbers, including the one currently being queried. I’ve got a firm rule against answering such mysterious calls and always turn to Who Called Us / Me to get the lowdown on any number that pops up.

Received a call today from someone asserting they were with my service provider, but they got the name all wrong. They had a pronounced Indian accent, making me think they probably weren't calling from anywhere near Leicester. Just a heads up to stay vigilant!
