I got a call from +44 116 488 6429 and picked up, but it sounded like some kind of robocall. They started asking if anyone in my family served in the military or something. I just ended the call straight away and blocked the number.

Somebody called me asking if I had set up anything to help cover nursing home costs by using my house. It seemed like they were trying to see if I had any plans sorted for that kind of expense. Bit strange, really.

So, it was Monday, 16th June 2025 when I got a ring about solar panels for the roof. The person calling was quite nice and didn’t push me at all. I just told them it wouldn’t work for me since my roof isn’t suitable. Not really interested.
