This chap introduced himself as Chris and mentioned he was nearby offering complimentary energy assessments. However, he rather abruptly ended the call when I courteously expressed that I wasn’t keen. Quite rude, really!

Got a call from a local energy company claiming there’s a government grant available for over 60s to get their loft insulation checked because the usual fiber glass stuff is apparently outdated now. They said they'd ring me back to arrange a survey but never did. I gave them my name and postcode, and they seemed to already know my loft insulation was the old kind. Won't be picking up for them again. This isn’t the first time I’ve had calls like this about loft insulation either.
