Somebody rang pretending to be from a car finance compensation scheme, wanting to review my car finance contract. I told them I didn’t have one and ended the call. It felt shady, especially since they seemed to know quite a bit about me (like my name and where I live) without me giving anything away. Then, about an hour later, I got another call from a different number about the same thing. To me it smelt like a phishing attempt. When I said I wasn’t after any compensation, the second caller quickly hung up. #suspicious
