Turns out they hate getting answer machines! Dialling 141 showed a robotic woman saying "you've reached National Debt". Sounds dodgy to me. Best give it a miss.

This company called Green Energy rang me pretending they were part of the government’s ECO3 scheme to swap boilers. I ended up speaking to them for about 20 minutes, giving them fake details, and they really didn’t like it when they eventually realised.

Someone claimed to be calling from the benefits office, telling me I qualified for a new boiler. I just ignored him and didn’t say a word, and after a bit he just hung up on me.

Got a call today from someone banging on about green boilers. You know it's dodgy when they start with "How are you today?" but you can tell they don't actually care. I'm on the TPS list, so they really shouldn't have bothered ringing. Ended up blocking the number straight away.

Kept ringing me non-stop till I picked up. Some Indian lady was on about me qualifying for a brand new boiler. Total scam, I’m not on any benefits or anything like that, so there’s no way I’d be. These scams really should be shut down.

Today I got four calls again, which honestly isn’t unusual, it happens nearly every day! I’m pretty sure it’s one bloke using fake or cloned numbers. Got a call from what sounded like an Asian call centre, they kept asking for someone named Mr Palmer (nobody here by that name). They then just went through some scripted lines and ended the call pretty quickly.

I received a rather dubious call from someone with a noticeable Asian accent, amidst the usual din of a call centre. They were purporting to be from the "UK benefits office" and were going on about something regarding heating assistance. Seemed a bit fishy to me!
