I got a call from a guy who used my first name and said he was following up about my solar panel inquiry. The thing is, I never asked about anything like that. I just ended the call straight away. Definitely feels like a scam to me.

They hung up right before I could say anything, so I looked up 1471 and called back. When I spoke to a lady, she asked if I was Mrs Parsons. I’m not, but I told her I was anyway! Then she said they weren’t trying to reach me. If they call again, I won’t pick up. The HMRC calls are flagged as scams on 'Which' now. I wish I’d checked this site before picking up, I usually do but forgot this time.
