So apparently I’ve been involved in some accident which I don’t actually remember at all. They say I’m due some compensation but how can that be if I don’t even know about it? Told them to stop bothering me with these calls. Honestly, they’re the ones wasting my time by ringing up out of the blue. Seriously, where do these people find this info? If I had an accident, I’d be the one reaching out to a proper company, not some total stranger calling to say they think I was in one.

Same rubbish, just a different day. Loads of different numbers trying the same nonsense, all get blocked straight away. New day, new number showing up. Nope, blocked again. Feels like I spend all day just updating my block list on my phone. Such time wasting scammers, proper annoying muppets.

Got a call today but couldn’t pick up coz I was on the job phone. They haven’t rang back or left a voicemail, so I looked them up here. Definitely gonna block any more calls from this number.

Some bloke said he was a solicitor and that I could get a refund on my bank account! Said I could get back all the fees I pay every month. I've never had to pay to keep a bank account and doubt I ever will. He didn't ask for my bank info, but I reckon that would've come next if I'd played along.

I’d never give my real name if they ask, they record it and use it against you. Just say something like ‘this is’ and then ask where they got your number from. Even though I’m ex-directory, they keep calling, super annoying!

it took a bit to catch on, she was pretty sharp - she claimed she was calling about my bank deal - said she wasn’t a sales person though. I asked how she got my number and she said ‘marketing team.’ I told her my number is on the telephone preference service (tps) and this was a cold call, so they have to take my number off their list. then i ended the call.
