Got a call from someone saying they were from Premium Property Lawyers, asking to verify my ID. Bit suspicious if you ask me.

Was selling my home and got a call from someone claiming to be from a top Property Law firm doing ID checks. Weird part was, they already knew the name of my conveyancer before I told them anything. Felt a bit off to me.

Got a call asking me to give personal info for some kind of ID verification. When I said to my mum, “It’s probably fine since the number’s showing on your caller ID,” she just ended the call straight away. Now I’m left unsure if it was a dodgy scam or a genuine enquiry.
