2 monthsThere was a bit of silence first, then a woman with an accent said she was calling on behalf of Mastercard. I told her off, ended the call, and put her number straight on blocked.2 yearsGot a voicemail from "G2MS" telling me to ring back if I didn't want any more calls. Total rip-off, stay clear!G2MS2 yearsThey've been ringing me non-stop for days now, it's really getting annoying.3 yearsGot a call from someone wanting to check if I owned the property, but they had no clue about my name or where I lived. They said they were an “Energy Advisor” for my area and pushed a free survey to check energy use around the home. Thing is, companies in Leicester don't usually do free surveys here in Kent. Looks like they were either trying to fish for my info or maybe even trying to sneak in for bad reasons. Definitely put them on the block and reported it!LeicesterKent3 yearsI keep getting hounded by calls regarding my outstanding debts. They’re incredibly insistent!3 yearsI received a call from someone who oddly knew my complete name and went straight into discussing my so-called unsecured debts. The thing is, I don’t have any! I promptly blocked this dodgy scammer with an Asian accent!3 yearsGot a call on my mobile and they asked for me by name, which freaked me out a bit. This is the second strange call I've had this week on my phone. Definitely feels like a scam!3 yearsTotal ripoff!3 yearsI wasn't familiar with the number and there were no texts either, so I’ve decided to block it.3 yearsFraudsters from India, it seems.India3 yearsI urge you not to divulge any of your personal information; it’s clearly a scam! I've been pestered repeatedly with what they call marketing deals. Quite tiresome, really.3 yearsI picked up but there was no one there, so I ended the call and blocked the number. Been getting a few calls from various 0116 numbers about debts, all of which I’ve just blocked straight away.3 yearsGot a call from a number but no one picked up when I tried answering.3 yearsI kept saying "Hello" a few times but then the person just cut the call off. It’s really frustrating, especially since I’ve got a disability.3 yearsGot a voicemail about something called Task Telly Services, or at least that’s what I think they said. Never heard of this company or their product before. Feels a bit dodgy like a marketing scam to me, so watch out folks! ;-)Task Telly Services3 yearsI tried ringing them back on my landline but kept getting no answer.3 yearsGot a call from an Asian guy giving me unsolicited debt advice, I never asked for it. Ended up blocking and hanging up on him.3 yearsIt seems that there's a bunch of telemarketers keen to have a chat regarding our offerings and related matters.3 yearsI just received a rather baffling automated call, complete with some garish music making it nigh impossible to discern what was being said. The message claimed to be from some shoddy tele-business services-what a ludicrous name! They stated they had 'attempted to contact me regarding their services.' Honestly, it’s utterly pointless-this call provided me with no useful information whatsoever. I’ve got no services in need of such a communication, and I’ve never handed out my number; I prefer to keep it strictly to email correspondence so I have written records of everything. This clearly reeks of a scam. Let’s not forget, dear friends, that your phone and door are there for your own convenience, not for anyone else. If someone rings up asking for 'security questions,' be very cautious-make sure you know who they are before responding; they should already have sufficient knowledge to be asking you anything. Almost every piece of information about you is up for grabs, all of it, without exception. And for heaven's sake, don’t be tempted to return calls from these clowns! They could easily set up premium-rate lines, leaving you with a hefty bill to pay. Stay savvy, folks!3 yearsI was taken aback by the caller’s rather confrontational approach when I declined to respond to his inquiries regarding nonexistent debts. I repeatedly requested that he remove my number from his records, yet he persisted in arguing that he didn’t have my details on file. It’s rather strange, isn’t it? If that were truly the case, then how on earth was he able to get in touch with me in the first place?Submit Your Own Report (0116 428 9954)
