Some bloke called himself Chris and claimed to be the energy boss for my region. When I asked which firm he was with and what he was on about, he just ignored me and kept going with his spiel. I ended up cutting him off.

He got all hyped when I mentioned I was interested in what he was selling, even scheduled a slot for me. But as soon as I said I was actually in France, the bloke just hung up on me. Honestly, what a rude way to end a chat!
