Just the other day, I got a call from someone who said they were ringing from Carphone Warehouse. The number didn’t look familiar, which made me quite wary straight away. They started pushing deals that sounded way too good to be honest. When I asked them about their location, they hesitated but finally admitted they were calling from India. That made me even more sure it was a scam since I’ve heard before about scammers pretending to be from Carphone Warehouse, often coming from India.

Got another one of those dodgy scam calls today.

I picked up and said ‘hello’, but the person on the other end just replied with a robotic ‘goodbye’ then just ended the call straight away.

Loads of different numbers, including this one, kept ringing me. Thankfully, I was stuck in class so I couldn’t pick up. Later, I thought I’d look into where these calls were coming from, and honestly, I’m pretty relieved I didn’t answer those calls.

Got a call from a lady with an Indian accent saying she was calling from Carphone Warehouse. There was so much noise in the background, it instantly felt dodgy. I didn't bother listening and just ended the call.
