When I pointed that out, they asked me to give them my up-to-date details. I told them my policy is already under the right name and address, so surely they’d have that if they were actually checking it. She just hung up on me. I rang back to find out why she was so rude and this bloke picked up instead. He sounded really annoyed and was like, "No idea. Who’s this?" I politely said nothing more and ended the call. Seems proper sketchy to me.4 yearsReally loud call centre in the background. The guy on the line was breathing loudly before he even started speaking, which was quite awkward. Then he suddenly yelled out “Hello, [someone else’s name], how are you?”, which is strange because I’ve been called before by different numbers about someone else’s debt linked to my number. The whole vibe was odd, not professional at all, and unlike others, he didn’t even ask if I wanted my number removed from their records.
