At first, the bloke was quite civil, but things quickly turned sour when I asked him what company he worked for and where he got my details from. He then started swearing and ended up calling me thick.

Spoke to a very polite bloke, pretty convincing, pushing bitcoin and other online investments hard. He kept mentioning this “outvest ta” site which seemed iffy, like some pages just weren’t there or don’t load properly. The guy was really smooth, kept the conversation going no probs, which makes me think it could be a trap for anyone who might be tempted to hand over cash. My guess is they want you to log in online then probably hijack your computer to move your money without you realising.

Got a call from some financial firm, but the guy barely spoke English and the connection was awful. Ended up hanging up and blocked the number straight away.
