In the past couple of days, the number 116 393 0015 has buzzed me about six times, each time dropping the same automated message from some American lady called Heather Grey. She warned me not to ignore the message or else I’d be in big trouble! Honestly, if HMRC wanted to reach you, they’d send a proper letter, not some creepy robo call. This has scam written all over it, watch out everyone! There’s some dodgy people out there for sure.

i got a call on my house phone today from this number (01163930015), it said i needed to ring back straight away. When i did, two different folks spoke to me and said i owed a huge amount on my taxes from 2014-2015, about £3000! When i got angry and raised my voice, they just hung up on me. at first i thought it was real, but as soon as they cut me off, i knew it was a total scam.
