Got a call from 0116 353 8481 on the 14th of November 2018. Since I’m based in Leicester, it seemed local. I answered, but as soon as I did, the caller just ended the call. I tried ringing them back a few times but it just went dead straight away every time. I even sent a few texts asking who it was, then warned I'd block the number if they didn’t stop. In the end, I did block it. Seemed really sketchy, probably some sort of robot or scam. Proper dodgy behaviour if you ask me.

Got a call from some HMRC scam saying they’re taking me to court. Best just ignore it and don’t answer.

Got a call from some dodgy asian bloke claiming I was in trouble with tax evasion. He wanted my lawyer's info. I asked him for my NI number, figured if he's really from HMRC he should know it. He just ended the call right away. Total scam, be careful!
