I chose not to press any buttons. Instead, I contacted my bank directly, and they informed me that had I pressed 1, the scammers could have gained access to my account and possibly linked it with others before hanging up. My bank categorically confirmed it was a fraudulent call and advised me to disconnect my phone for safety, then reconnect it.
