Just after midday on a Friday, I got a call from this number. When I answered with a simple “Hello?”, there was nothing but quiet for a few moments. I repeated “Hello?” and then a man with a strong Indian accent said, “This is Ryan from Vodafone.” I told him straight away, “I’m not a Vodafone customer, so why are you ringing me?” and he immediately ended the call without a word. I’d guess it’s a scam targeting actual Vodafone users, and when he heard me say I wasn’t one, he gave up trying to carry on.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with Virgin Media and O2, telling me my SIM was about to be switched off. Problem is, I’m with Three Mobile, so it was obviously a scam. I just ended the call and they never rang me again.
