Got a call from a woman with a South Asian accent out of the blue. I couldn’t quite catch what she was saying before she suddenly ended the call. Decided to block the number straight away.

What a waste of time! I picked up and all I got was silence before the call just dropped. Tried calling back and it just said couldn't connect right now. Definitely feels like some kind of scam to me! Another one I’ve gone ahead and blocked.

Got a random call from a woman with a South Asian accent claiming to be calling from something called ‘Sky Assured Maintenance’. She was going on about renewing my TV maintenance contract, which apparently had run out. Thing is, I don’t have Sky or any such contract at all, so I just ended the call and went ahead to block the number. Just another one of those common South Asian phone scams. Best to just hang up and block them straight away.
