Got a call from someone with a thick Asian accent asking about a traffic accident I'd supposedly been in. Totally sounded like one of those scam calls to me.

Got two calls this past week from a woman speaking with a South African accent - instantly recognised them as one of those ‘we know you’ve had an accident’ scams so I just hung up straight away both times. They didn’t even bother to say my name. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.

So today I got a call from a woman claiming I’d been involved in an accident sometime in the past two years. She insisted she got my number from some kind of accident database, but that’s a load of rubbish since I’ve never had an accident. I just hung up on her. When I tried ringing her back, I couldn’t get through at all.
