I happened to miss a call and decided to look up the number here, considering we had a boiler service arranged. It makes sense, doesn't it? Yet, I noticed they had conveniently logged on my online account that they would ring my mobile instead, which is utterly absurd. I'm really becoming quite exasperated with the level of service from British Gas.

Received a voicemail that claimed to be from British Gas, stating an engineer would be arriving soon – but we hadn’t even scheduled a visit! We figured it was likely a dodgy scam, attempting to prompt us into calling back to clarify our non-existent appointment. So, we simply hung up!

Received a call on the 31st of December from a number I didn’t recognise on the 10th of September 2018. When I picked up, there was complete silence on the other end. Quite odd, really!

I received a voicemail featuring a woman with a British accent, informing me it's British Gas and that a gas engineer is on his way. She mentioned I could leave him a message by pressing 1. However, we're not scheduled with British Gas at all! Can anyone tell me what's going on here?
