I think this dental clinic 'Dental Beauty' in Hanworth must have shared my info or sold it because ever since yesterday, I've been getting flooded with calls from 0116 325 8729 and loads of other numbers. It's been nonstop, like 10 calls daily since August, and it's driving me mad!

I've been getting loads of calls from D&G about some appliance cover, always mentioning prices that don't match what I'm actually paying. They keep saying I'm entitled to a discount, but the prices they quote are way higher than my current payments. I checked with D&G myself and my insurance is set to auto-renew, everything's fine on my end. Sounds like a total scam to me - just block the number!

Got a call this morning around 10:45 from a lady with an Asian accent saying she was Mary Smith. She wanted to talk about renewing my insurance for domestic appliances, which I’ve never even got with them. She went on and on pretty pushy, and when I asked her for her name, the company's name, and their address so I could report them, she just cut me off and hung up.

Absolutely a dodgy character. This woman claimed she could lower my insurance costs for my electronic gadgets. When I probed her about which gadgets she meant, she just flung out a vague response about everything I had insured. I then quizzed her on my current payments, and she quoted a figure that was significantly steeper than my actual cost. Curious, I asked for the supposedly reduced rate, and again, the figure she gave was far above what I'm paying now. In the midst of our conversation, I could hear what sounded like a raucous gathering in the background, so I cheekily asked if she had any connection to Boris Johnson and whether she was indeed in an office. She insisted she was at General Insurance, but I simply didn't buy it. Once I voiced my disbelief, she promptly hung up on me.
