I received a call from a woman who had an Indian or foreign lilt to her voice, claiming there was an issue with my router. Strangely, she even had my account number! The call came from a Leicester number, and it felt as though she was attempting to fish for more personal details.

Oh, here we go again! I've been receiving these incessant calls from someone with a thick foreign accent claiming there's an issue with my TT router. It’s been happening regularly since early November, and I’m beyond fed up! When I have a spare moment, I find myself toying with them, responding with a monotonous “yes, yes, absolutely, yes...” until they catch on that they’re hitting a brick wall. After they hang up on me, I take the liberty of calling them back, letting my phone ring endlessly, as it's clear they lack the decency to pick up!

I had a rather dodgy encounter with what I suspect was a tech support scam. These individuals were trying to utilise TeamViewer to remotely access my computer, which raised all sorts of alarms. The number they were calling from was 01163197862 - it’s best to steer clear of them!
