I got a call from this number claiming to be from the Microsoft tech support. They were telling me to log into my computer. When I asked for a callback number, they just ended the call. Sounds like a phishing scam to me?

I kept saying hello a bunch but got no reply, then out of nowhere a woman's robotic voice just said goodbye and hung up. Really don’t get what they wanted with that call.

Received a call today informing me that someone at my home address had been involved in an accident. Naturally, I inquired who I was speaking to, as I live on my own and don’t drive. They said nothing, so I ended the conversation. After hanging up, I contemplated that I might have mistakenly believed it was a relative who had encountered trouble without me being aware. It's absolutely dreadful how they operate. This definitely warrants a report to someone!

i reckon this is a total scam, they were quite impolite and tried to get my bank info, something i definitely refused to share. definitely should be reported.

Some bloke rang me saying I'd been in an accident, which I definitely wasn't, and when I asked him to take me off their list he got really rude about it. Proper annoying!

Received a call from a bloke whose English was quite poor. Honestly, it was a bit of a struggle to grasp what he was saying. He claimed to be inquiring about an accident I supposedly mentioned, but I assured him that nothing of the sort had taken place. In the end, I told him to clear off! :)

Didn’t get a message on my answer phone, but from what I’ve read here, sounds like a phishing scam trying to get your bank info. I’ve had calls like this before too.

Received a call today inquiring about a slight accident supposedly noted at my address. They wanted both my address and their name, claiming they required information from me as I might be eligible for compensation. I questioned how they had my number since they didn’t possess any other details, nor did they seem aware that I neither drive nor have a vehicle. The call ended abruptly. It’s clearly a scam.

Seeking validation regarding a supposed car crash. Utter nonsense, if you ask me.

I was keen to find out if any of my relatives were involved in a car crash - I certainly gave them a piece of my mind!

I've chosen to ignore them, yet they keep ringing me, about three or four times over the past few days. I tend to steer clear of unknown numbers on principle since my phone line is supposed to be X directory. It honestly baffles me how these businesses manage to obtain my number; I only share it with mates, and even then, I only provide my mobile if absolutely necessary for a company.

Receiving their call was an absolute nuisance, and the constant ringing afterwards was just unbearable.

I've been inundated with calls purporting to be from DHL - it’s just a robotic voice, mind you. They keep ringing my phone, sometimes up to six times daily! The whole rigmarole involves pressuring me to hop online and settle postage fees for items I've never even ordered. Quite the nuisance, if you ask me!

I got a call from someone saying a person linked to this number was in an accident, but I told her there wasn't. She kept pushing, even after I said no again. Then, out of nowhere, she just hung up.

I got a call from a woman who said the DVLA told her someone using my phone number was in a car crash. I told her no one here has been in an accident, but she kept questioning me louder. Really cheeky of her!
