This number has rang me twice in a row, nearly at the same time both days. I picked up but stayed quiet, and there was nothing but silence from the other side too. Seems like some sort of robocall that kicks in when they hear you, so I'm thinking it's likely a scam.

didn’t pick up and they didn’t leave any voicemail. though I've gotten calls from a number that looks really alike, and from what i've heard, it’s probably a scam as well.

i dont pick up calls from numbers i dont know anymore cause of all the scammers and telemarketers who dont care about being on the do not call list. If it’s something important, they can leave a message and i’ll ring them back. This time, no message was left.

they called my elderly mum, using her full first name which felt a bit odd. mum had the call on speaker and was confused. when i got to the phone and asked them what the purpose of the call was and who they were, they just ended the call straight away.

First there was just silence, then the call got cut off. I’m definitely going to report it as a dropped call to Ofcom, but it’d be good to actually know who called so I could also notify the TPS or ICO.
