It seems perpetually engaged, and I’ve now escalated the matter to the Police, my bank, and the Citizens Advice Bureau. The Bank's Fraud Team is already on the case. If I do not receive a prompt refund into account number 46996068, sort code 77-56-12, I won't hesitate to take further action.
