Got a call from someone saying they were with a charity. Seemed a bit fishy tho.

the only thing on the voicemail was a quick “bye”, which makes me think they’re just checking if the number is active. probably companies trying to figure out who’s picking up, maybe also to get info on language, accent or gender from the replies. honestly, the phone regulators really should look into these calls and start serving cease and desist notices and slap fines on the ones who keep doing it. i bet they’re making a profit too, since they charge 9p a minute.
