Some bloke rang claiming to be from the optician, saying my eye test was way overdue. He tried to get me to book an appointment straight away but got quite insistent when I told him I’d check my schedule before calling back. Then he said he’d send me an email with a slot that I could change if it didn’t suit me. I wasn’t having any of it and hung up. The number wasn’t even my optician’s, and he never mentioned which optician he was representing.
