A bloke with quite a thick accent said he was "Michael from Vodafone." When I asked him to take me off his calling list - I've never had a Vodafone account, so I figured it was either a cold call or spam - he straight up asked "Why?" I told him I didn’t want these calls and to stop contacting me, but he just said I’m on his list and he’d keep ringing "again and again." The number showed up as belonging to "Dough What" - some pizza place in Leicester I'd never heard of before. Putting all that together, it seems pretty clear to me it was just a scam call.
